RENOVATION
Residence for Mr. Saicharan, Salem.
Project Description
The ground and first floors of a residence underwent extensive renovations to enhance functionality, storage, and aesthetic appeal. The ground floor now features improved storage, an Open-To-Sky (OTS) feature for natural light, and the addition of a Pooja room and common exterior toilet. The first floor upgrades included new bedrooms with toilets, walk-in wardrobes, and OTS features.
Foyer
Previously adorned with a simplistic wooden mirror, the wall now showcases a stunning transformation, incorporating the graceful charm of semi-circular elements. Two semicircles command the observer's gaze, with a radiant mirror on the right reflecting light and space. On the left, a striking combination of a grey backdrop and golden foil casts a mesmerizing aura, infusing the foyer with a touch of opulence and sophistication. This inspired renovation revitalizes the foyer, elevating its ambiance and inviting guests into a realm of timeless beauty and refined taste.
Living Room
The living room has undergone a striking transformation, shedding its previous palette of pink and green for a more contemporary and inviting ambiance. Expansive windows and clerestory allow natural light to flood the space, exuding warmth and sophistication. The focal point of the room is the revamped TV panel with a rustic theme. Against a backdrop of weathered bricks, the TV is nestled within an open shelf, and below it, a storage unit offers ample space to stow away clutter. Sustainable plants atop the TV panel enhance the visual appeal and contribute to a healthier indoor environment. The opening connecting the living and dining areas has been elevated into a decorative showcase, blending form and function seamlessly.
